Lacoste, is planning to expand its retail presence in India. The brand licenced in India through Sports and Leisure Apparel, is looking to expand presence in Mumbai and Delhi markets besides working on its omni-channel strategy. The brand has a retail presence across 14 states and 18 cities.
Lacoste is also keenly watching premium developments in Tier-I and II cities both in terms of consumer demographics and psychographics and relevant retail developments. As Rajesh Jain, the Managing Director and CEO of Sports and Leisure Apparel says they started entering cities near metros, and received a good response. As a part of the brand’s omni-channel strategy, Lacoste has its own dedicated e-commerce store in India and has also partnered multi-brand platform Myntra last year.
