The expansion oriented move is inspired by the impressive and exemplary double-digit growth of the brand witnessed by the preceding years owing to the growing trend of activewear clothing in the global fashion industry.
The brand incurred an impeccable growth rate of 21 per cent in 2018 with the direct-to-customer e-commerce platform also progressing at a high rate.
Puma’s exclusivity is reflected in its focus on style that makes the athleisure attractive to the buyer. The brand has acquired global recognition for its faster progression in sports performance and sports styles segments.
Determined to excel in its growth, Puma will be investing to expand its market reach in India to achieve retail dominance with India offering growth potential.
The brand will also expand its presence in neighbouring countries like Bangladesh and Nepal. Bangladesh has one of the biggest flagships in southeast Asia while Nepal has three stores.
Puma currently operates in 365 exclusive stores and 3,100 points of sale in India.
